1.
No One Knows: A song featuring the Vaudevilean extravagances
of the Billy Rubin Trio, tastefully rounded by Meloni's Hawaiian
electric steel guitar and Meloni's (the other one's) carefully
placed whistles. The bassolo is a genuine invention of Mr. Billy
Rubin himself.
2. Closer: Lady S. and Mr. Billy Rubin himself
will sing us a charming lovesong about hopes and desires, happily
accelerated to a fast swing tune, showcasing Meloni's (the other
one) virtuosity and intuition on drums. Meloni (not the other
one) again on Hawaiian guitar, is quotating a marvellous melody
from the early Twenties, and also contributing some rapid banjo
runs.
3. Fuck Forever: Just a slow cakewalk with a beat,
featuring an extraordinary fabulous Lady S. taking us to the
deepest secrets of her soul. Remarkable is the carefully assembled
melody executed by Meloni on the for this occasion constructed
melonium - for the first time and supposedly last time ever
in recordings history.
4. Love Will Tear Us Apart:Lady S.'s wonderful
singing and sighing will take us through this beautiful ballad,
clearly underlined by Meloni's dry and fluid electric jazz guitar
statements. Mr. Rubin himself and Meloni (the other one) stay
remarkably quiet throughout this song.
5. Are You Gonna Be My Man: Another brilliant
arrangement by the Billy Rubin Trio, permanently switching from
bi-zarre harmonical oddities to Ellingtonian elegance and vice
versa, resting only for a few bluesy moments of contem-plation.
Meloni takes one of his legendary double solos on the grand
piano and the baritone ukulele at the same time.
